Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)

Age Limit:
Constable (Tailor, Gardener and Cobbler) – 18 to 23 years i.e. candidate should be born between 23.12.1999 and 22.12.2004 (both dates inclusive).

Constable (Safai Karmachari, Washerman and Barber) – 18 to 25 years i.e. candidate should be born between 23.12.1997 and 22.12.2004 (both dates inclusive).

Crucial date for determining the age will be 22.12.2022. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories will be applicable as per Govt rules.

Educational Qualification:
Constable (Tailor, Gardener and Cobbler) – 10th Pass and 02 years work experience in respective trades OR 01 year course certificate from Industrial Training Institute/ Vocational Institute with minimum 01 year experience in the trade OR 02 years Diploma from Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in the trade.

Constable (Safai Karmachari, Washerman and Barber) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized school or institution.

Selection and Recruitment Procedure

The selection process consists of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Written Examination (CBT/ OMR Based), Trade Test and Merit List, Documentation and Medical Examination (DME/ RME). Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online for the ITBP Tradesman Recruitment Constable Vacancies through the website recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in till 22nd December 2022. To apply online for the ITBP Tradesman Bharti, follow the important instructions below:

Part 1 (Registration) – Firstly go to the ITBP One-time Registration (Applicant Sign up) page and enter the required details (note down E-mail ID and Password for further requirements). After submitting the details, a confirmation mail will be sent on your registered e-mail ID with account activation link. Click on the given link to activate your account and to apply for any recruitment conducted by ITBP.

Part 2 (Profile) – Now go to the ITBP Login Page and enter your registered E-mail ID and Password to access the dashboard. Click the Profile Details link and fill up Mobile number, Father name, Mother name, Country, Address, Religion, Educational details, Gender, Marital status etc to complete your profile. Thereafter, upload your latest photograph and signature in JPEG or JPG format.

Part 3 (Application form) – As and when ITBP initiates the recruitment process, you can view the details of live applications and can apply for the post as per your eligibility. To submit the application form, click on Apply link given at left side. Re-check the pre-filled application details or change the details and then pay the recruitment fee (if applicable).

After submission of online form, you can check your application status, download admit card (for each stage of recruitment) and view written test/ trade test marks details.

Application fee:
GEN/OBC Male candidates are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee through online payment gateway using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and female candidates are not required to submit the fee.
