Age Limit (as on 12.07.22):
Sub Inspector (Technical) – Maximum 30 Years.
Constable (Technical) – 18 to 25 Years.
Relaxation in upper age limit for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen, Departmental candidates and other categories will be applicable as per Govt Rules.

Educational Qualification:
Sub Inspector (Technical) – Three years Diploma in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Auto Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.

Constable (Technical) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate in respective trade or 03 years work experience in respective trade.

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates will have to register and submit online application form for the BSF SMT Workshop Constable SI Technical Vacancies through rectt.bsf.gov.in up to 12th July 2022. Before applying online, keep ready educational qualification details, email Id, mobile number and scanned copies of photograph (30-100 kb), signature (20-50kb), thumb impression (max 50 kb) and supporting documents (30-100 kb).

To apply online for the BSF SMT Workshop (WKSP) Bharti, complete the important steps below:
STEP 1: One Time Registration (OTR).
STEP 2: Filling of online application.
STEP 3: Payment of application fee.

Firstly complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process by filling the basic information as Name, Mobile Number and E-mail ID. Thereafter fill the application form with all the required details and upload photograph, signature, thumb impression and supporting documents. Finally, pay the application fee (if applicable). After successful submission of application, take a print out of online form for record/ reference. Printout of application form is not required to be sent to BSF Recruitment centres.

1. Caste certificate for SC/ ST in prescribed format (as applicable).
2. EWS certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
3. OBC certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).
4. Height & Chest relaxation certificate in prescribed format (if applicable).

Examination fee:
Candidates will have to pay Rs 200 for Group B Posts of Sub Inspector and Rs 100 for Group C Posts of Constable as application fee through Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card or through nearest authorized CSC. SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, BSF Serving Personnel and Female candidates are not required to pay the exam fee.
