Soldier General Duty (GD) Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Indian Army Written Exam Pattern, Model Question Paper, SyllabusIndian Army Written Exam Paper for Soldier GD (SGD) generally comprises of objective type questions on General Knowledge, General Science and Maths (10th level). The question paper will be of 01 hour duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (02 Marks each). The question paper will be of total 100 Marks and candidates will have to obtain total 32 marks to pass the Soldier GD CEE.
For Soldier General Duty (GD), National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ Certificate holders are exempted from appearing in written test (Check Bonus Marks or Special Concessions).

  • General Knowledge (15 Questions): 30 Marks
  • General Science (20 Questions): 40 Marks
  • Maths (15 Questions): 30 Marks

Soldier GD Syllabus and Exam Pattern

Soldier Tradesman Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Indian Army Written Exam Paper for Soldier Tradesman (8th/10th Standard) TDN generally comprises of objective type questions on General Knowledge, General Science and Maths. The question paper will be of 01 hour (60 minutes) duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (02 Marks each). The question paper will be of total 100 Marks and candidates will have to obtain total 32 marks to pass the Soldier Tradesman CEE.
For Soldier Tradesman, National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘C’ Certificate holders are exempted from appearing in written test (Check Bonus Marks or Special Concessions).

  • General Knowledge (20 Questions): 40 Marks
  • General Science (15 Questions): 30 Marks
  • Maths (15 Questions): 30 Marks

Soldier Technical Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Indian Army Written Exam Paper for Soldier Technical generally comprises of objective type questions on General Knowledge, Physics, Maths and Chemistry (12th level). The question paper will be of 01 hour duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (04 Marks each). The question paper will be of total 200 Marks and candidates will have to obtain total 80 marks to pass the Soldier Technical CEE.

  • General Knowledge (10 Questions): 40 Marks
  • Maths (15 Questions): 60 Marks
  • Physics (15 Questions): 60 Marks
  • Chemistry (10 Questions): 40 Marks

Soldier Nursing Assistant (NA) Pattern and Syllabus

Indian Army Written Exam Paper for Soldier Nursing Assistant generally comprises of multiple choice questions on General Knowledge, Maths (10th Level), Biology and Chemistry. The question paper will be of 01 hour duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (04 Marks each). The question paper will be of total 200 Marks and candidates will have to obtain total 80 marks to pass the Soldier Technical CEE.

  • General Knowledge (10 Questions): 40 Marks
  • Maths (05 Questions): 20 Marks
  • Physics (05 Questions): 20 Marks
  • Biology (15 Questions): 60 Marks
  • Chemistry (15 Questions): 60 Marks

Soldier Clerk / SKT Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Indian Army Written Exam Paper for Soldier Clerk / SKT (CLK) generally comprises of multiple choice questions on General Knowledge, General Science, Maths, Computer Science and English. The question paper will be of 01 hour duration and will consist of total 50 Questions (04 Marks each). The question paper will be of total 200 Marks and candidates will have to obtain minimum 32% (32 marks) in Section A & Section B separately and minimum 40% (80 marks) in total to pass the Soldier Clerk/ SKT CEE.
Section A

  • General Knowledge and General Science (10 Questions): 40 Marks
  • Maths and Computer Science (15 Questions): 60 Marks

Section B

  • English comprehension, Grammar, Tenses, Sentence structure etc (25 Questions): 100 Marks

Education Havildar Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Havildar Education (HVL) Exam paper will be of 02 hours duration consisting of two parts as Part 1 and Part 2 as per the pattern/ syllabus below. Candidates are required to score minimum 40% (20 Marks) in Part 1 & Part 2 separately to be declared pass in the Havildar Education written test.

  • Part 1 (Compulsory for Science and Arts Stream): Part 1 will consist of 50 Questions (Maximum 50 marks) on General Knowledge and General English.
  • Part 2 (for Science Stream): Part 2 (Science Stream) will consist of 50 Questions (Maximum 50 marks) from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science.
  • Part 2 (for Arts Stream): Part 2 (Arts Stream) will consist of 50 Questions (Maximum 50 marks) from Mathematics, History, Geography, Political Science and Economics.

    1. Permanent Body Tattoos are only permitted on inner face of forearms i.e. from inside of elbow to wrist and the reverse side of palm/back side of hand. Permanent Tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable.
