Army Bharti Online Registration, Eligibility, Apply 2022-2023

Indian Army introduced online registration facility to all the candidates who want to join the Indian Army as an Agniveer (AV), Officer (except UPSC entries), Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and Other Ranks (OR). Now candidates are required to apply online for the recruitment of Officer, Surveyor Auto Cartographer, JCO Religious Teacher, JCO Catering, Havildar Education, Agniveer (GD, Technical, Clerk/SKT, Tradesman and Women MP) etc as per the scheduled programme. Join Indian Army Bharti Online Registration

As per the latest Agnipath Scheme, initially candidates will be selected as Agniveer GD, Clerk/SKT, Technical, Tradesman, WMP etc in the Indian Army for the service of 04 Years. Later on completion of 04 years of service, based on organisational requirements and policies, 25% Agniveers will be selected in Regular cadre of Indian Army as Soldier GD, Clerk/ SKT, Technical, Tradesman, WMP (Women Military Police) etc.

Indian Army Agniveer Bharti under Agnipath Scheme

Indian Army has set to conduct Agniveer recruitment rally under Agnipath Scheme all over India through the various Army Recruitment Offices (ARO) under ZRO/Zone Lucknow, Jalandhar, Jabalpur, Ambala, Danapur, Jaipur, IRO Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, Shillong and Kunraghat. To participate in Agniveer rally you will have to register yourself on the official website of Join Indian Army (joinindianarmy.nic.in) as a participant or candidate. Candidates from a particular district can participate in Agniveer Bharti rally which is scheduled to be conducted under the respective ARO/ BRO only. If you’re willing to be recruited in Indian Army as an Agniveer through the Agnipath Scheme then follow the steps as explained below with a simple procedure.

Agniveer Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)

Age Limit:
All Categories (Agniveer GD, Clerk/SKT, Technical, Tradesman and Women Military Police) – 17½ Years to 23 Years as on the 01st October of the recruitment year. Relaxation of 02 years in upper age limit will be applicable as onetime measure for the recruiting year 2022-23.

Educational Qualification:


Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) with 45% Marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of D Grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or equivalent of grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate in C2 Grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate. Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.

Agniveer (Technical) and Tech (Avn & Amn Examiner) – 12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% Marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject. ITI or Diploma holders will also be eligible for Agniveer (Technical) entry. OR

12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English from any recognized State/ Central Education Board (incl NIOS) and ITI course of minimum 01 year in required trade with NSQF level 4 or above.

Agniveer Clerk/ SKT (All Arms) – 12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% Marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.

Agniveer Tradesmen (10th Pass) (All Arms) – Class 10th simple pass and no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored in 33% in each subject.

Agniveer Tradesmen (8th Pass) (All Arms) – Class 8th simple pass and no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored in 33% in each subject.

Education Certificate with marks sheet of 10th/ 12th should be achieved by candidate from recognized School/ College/ Board as listed in List of Education Boards. Provisional or online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board. Candidates with matriculation certificate from Open School/ NIOS should bring School Leaving Certificate countersigned by BEO/ DEO.

If you’re not sure about your eligibility for any post or entry to join the Indian Army then you may check your eligibility online through the official website. Open the page Agniveer Eligibility or JCO / OR Applicant Eligibility or Officers Selection Eligibility and fill up the required data as State, District, Tehsil, Date of Birth, Height, Qualification, Gender, Marital Status, Dispensation Category etc. Now click on Check eligibility button and you’ll get post category or entry/course details for which you’re eligible.

Indian Army Bharti Online Registration

Registration process (One Time Registration) is mandatory for all the candidates before applying or submitting online form for the recruitment of Agniveer, JCO & Other Ranks and Officer. Open the page Agniveer Registration or JCO / OR User Registration or Officer Entry Registration and read all the instructions and then click on Continue button. Fill up the required data in the Registration form as State, Aadhar number, Candidate name, Father & Mother name, Date of birth, Email address and Mobile number.

After filling all the field correctly, click on Submit button. Now you’ll get a One Time Password (OTP) on your E-mail ID/ Mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your registration form. Thereafter, submit the remaining data in the Registration form as Personal details, Contact details, Educational details and Password. After successful registration, you may access your profile and login using your Username (E-mail ID) and Password.

Data Required for Army Bharti Online Registration

  • State
  • Aadhar Number/ UIDAI Enrolment Number
  • Candidate Name
  • Father Name
  • Mother Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Valid Email address
  • Mobile Number
  • Matriculation (10th) certificate number as issued by Education Board
  • Scanned passport size photo (size 10 Kb – 20 Kb) and scanned photo of signature (size 5 Kb – 10 Kb) in jpg format required to upload with the application
  • Detailed mark sheet of Class 10th, and other higher education qualification, required to be filled in the application form as per the eligibility criteria of the category/ entry

How to Submit Online Application Form

For the Agnipath Bharti, online application form will be opened about 30-60 days before the scheduled rally (Check latest rally schedule or notification for the concerned ARO/ District). Visit the page Agniveer User Login and login with your Username (E-mail ID) and Password. Now click on Apply Online button. You’ll get post category option(s) with Apply Online link as per your eligibility.

Click on relevant link to submit online application for a particular category as Agniveer GD, Clerk/SKT, Technical, Tradesman and Women MP. Verify and fill up your personal details, communication details, Educational details & other required details. After submitting online application form you’ll get a Roll number. Take printout of the Roll number for future reference. You will get Admit Card (Call letter) through Email after the closing date of online application.

For the JCO/ OR Bharti, you may submit online application after publication of official recruitment notification. To submit online application you may visit the page JCO / OR User Login and login with your Username (E-mail ID) and Password.

While, for Officer Entry Recruitment [NDA & CDS (Notified by UPSC), TES 10+2, NCC Entry, JAG, UES, TGC, SSC Technical, AEC, Territorial Army etc], you may submit online application after publication of official recruitment notification (check the attached link).

Required Documents at Rally Venue

After registration and submission of online form, you are required to report in the Recruitment rally under the concerned ARO/ BRO with the following documents in original along with two/ three attested photocopies of each (check the concerned ARO Rally notification for complete list of documents and prepare all before rally date):

  • 08th/ 10th/ 12th/ Higher Education Marks sheet and Certificate.
  • Character Certificate (not more than six months old).
  • Domicile/ Nativity Certificate issued by authorized Govt official.
  • Caste Certificate issued by authorized Govt official.
  • Relationship Certificate in case of Son of Serving Soldier / Ex-Servicemen / War Widow issued by SRO / CRO of Record Office with Serial Number, Name and Application of the officer signing the certificate duly affixed with round stamp.
  • Sports Certificate (for Outstanding Sportsman).
  • NCC Certificate (A/B/C Certificate if any) signed by the Battalion Commander / Group Commander.
  • ITI / Computer / Typing Course Certificate (if any).
  • 20 Copies of passport size photographs.
  • ID proof (Aadhar Card / Pan Card / Bank Passbook etc).
  • Affidavit (As enclosed with recruitment notification).

Download Admit Card for Indian Army Bharti

Candidates are required to carry their Admit Card and all the Required Documents to appear in a recruitment rally according to date, time and place (venue) as given on the Admit Card (Call letter) only. Online Admit Card can be downloaded after the closing date of submission of online application form. Candidates submitted their online application successfully may download their Admit Card for recruitment rally by logging using Username (E-mail ID) & Password and the same will also be sent through registered Email ID. Without a valid Admit card candidates will not be allowed to participate in the rally.

JCO / OR (Other Rank) Indicates: Havildar Survey Automated Cartographer, Religious Teacher (RT), JCO Catering, Havildar Education etc (no clear information officially).
Agnipath Indicates: Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Nursing Assistant, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical and Agniveer Tradesman (no clear information officially). Bt when am opening my I'd it is showing that I'd or password is wrong. Then again I tried to register once again then it is showing I'd is wrong. So suggest me wt should it do for registering.     1. Yes, admit card is mandatory for participating in the open recruitment rally. Usually, admit card for recruitment rally is dispatched through registered e-mail after the closing date of online application. Also, to download the e-admit card you can login to the official website of Indian Army using your username & password.
