Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) Ramnagar invited online applications for the entrance exam of two years Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) training conducted at DIETs located in the state. As per the notification, Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Entrance Exam will be conducted on 25th May 2022. Uttarakhand DElEd Application Form and Exam Updates

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2022) – 19 to 30 Years i.e. candidate should be born between 01 July 1992 and 01 July 2003 (Relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt rules).

Educational Qualification – Completed Graduate Degree from a recognized University before publication of this advertisement.

Total number of seats – 650 (50 Seats for each DIET). For the two-year D.El.Ed training, 50% science category candidates and 50% non-science category candidates will be selected against district wise allotted seats.

B.Tech, B.Pharma, BBA and BCA Graduate degree holders and who have passed Intermediate exam in Science or Agriculture stream, will be considered under Science category. Candidates having BBA and BCA Graduate degree and who have passed Intermediate exam in Humanities stream, then such candidate and candidates having Graduate degree in Commerce stream will be considered under Non-Science (Arts) category.

D.El.Ed Course (Training) fees – Rs 35000 per year, and Rs 850 per semester in the form of examination fee.
Candidates will be selected for the 02 years self financed D.El.Ed (earlier it was known as BTC) training at respective District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. For selection, merit list will be prepared in order of entrance exam marks obtained by candidates.

UK D.El.Ed Selection Process, Exam Pattern and Centres

Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Entrance Exam will be of 02 Hours 30 Minutes duration and will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions of total 200 Marks (01 mark each). D.El.Ed question paper will comprise of questions based on General Awareness (Knowledge), General Mental Ability & Reasoning, Numerical Ability and Teaching Aptitude.

There will be no negative marking in the entrance exam. For selection, district & category wise merit lists will be prepared separately on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam. Before admission or allotment of seats in DIETs, all shortlisted candidates will undergo documentation process at district level.

Entrance Exam Centre – Candidates will have to fill the choices of centers for the entrance exam and preference will be given in allocation of exam centers based on choices. While applying, candidates will also have to give preference for training for all the 13 districts, but will have to give first preference to their home district only.

The exam will be held in the following 29 cities of all 13 districts of the state. The names of the exam cities or centres are as follows:
Haridwar, Roorkee, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Uttarkashi, Badkot, New Tehri, Narendranagar, Pauri, Srinagar, Kotdwar, Gopeshwar, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, Agastyamuni, Pithoragarh, Berinag, Didihat, Champawat, Tanakpur, Almora, Ranikhet, Bageshwar, Garur, Nainital, Haldwani, Ramnagar, Rudrapur and Kashipur.

Application form, Fee, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to register and submit online application form for the Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Entrance Exam on the official website ukdeled.com up to 29th April 2022 (revised). To apply online follow the important instructions below:

Registration – Firstly go to the ukdeled.com and click on New Registration link. Read and acknowledge the provided terms & conditions and then click on Proceed to Registration button (if not registered already). Thereafter submit the required details as Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Mobile number and Email ID.

After submitting the details, an OTP will be sent on your Mobile number and Email ID. After verifying the OTP, your Registration number and Password will be sent on the registered Mobile number and Email ID.

Application Form – To complete the Application part, you will have to login to the website ukdeled.com using your Registration number and Password (sent on registered Mobile number/ Email ID). Now on the Homepage, open the Apply for D.El.Ed 2020-21 link and fill up all the required information (Category, Mother’s name, Qualification, Exam centers, Address, Gender, Identity proof, Training district preference etc) to complete the step.

Thereafter upload your latest colour photograph (5-100 kb, 140×170 pixel), signature (2-50 kb, 180×70 pixel) and left hand thumb impression (10-150 kb, 250×150 pixel) in JPG format. Finally, pay the application fee (as applicable) and take a printout of the submitted application form for record or reference.

List of applications found Inaccurate/ Incomplete/ Rejected

Generally UBSE releases list of D.El.Ed application forms found inaccurate/ incomplete/ rejected. Many applicants submit incorrect application fee, age, category, group etc in application form. The Council provides an opportunity to such candidates to rectify the deficiencies before the final cancellation.

Information regarding the applications of candidates received with fees will be uploaded on the official website. The candidates can check their Application for candidature and candidate’s particulars on the website. The candidature of the candidate, whose fees has not been received by the Board, will not be considered for the D.El.Ed 2020-21 Entrance examination.

Applicants who have applied for D.El.Ed exam, are advised to check the list released by UBSE for errors/ remarks. If any applicant has any objection to the list issued by the Council and want to make correction, then he/ she can submit their representation (Pratyavedan) along with proper evidence through e-mail/ registered/ speed post/ personally on the prescribed format.

D.El.Ed Admit Card will be released by UBSE and can be downloaded online through the official website ubse.uk.gov.in or ukdeled.com for the entrance exam scheduled to be held on 25th May. The admit card will not be sent by Post. You will have to carry the downloaded Admit Card along with a valid Photo ID proof (as filled in application form) to appear at the respective exam centre.

D.El.Ed Nodal Exam Centres – If you didn’t get your D.El.Ed Admit Card through the official website and your name isn’t in the rejected candidates list then visit to the Nodal Exam Centre of your district/ city on 23-24 May with the following required documents. The required documents to get Admit Card from Nodal exam centre are as follows:

1. Photocopy of OMR Application form
2. Photo ID (Voter ID, Aadhar Card etc as given in application form)
3. Two passport size photographs

If any candidate has any objection to the answer to any question(s) then they can send their objection (pratyavedan) on the form prescribed by the Council up to 12-06-2022 (05 PM) along with the proof through email at deled2015@gmail.com only. Candidates can submit an objection (pratyavedan) on only one question/ answer in a form, if there is an objection to more than one question/ answer then prepare and submit objection (pratyavedan) on a separate form for each, otherwise the objection (pratyavedan) will not be considered. Counselling Schedule, Required Documents and Waiting list

Uttarakhand D.El.Ed Counselling date (schedule) and Notification 2022-2023 for screening of documents and allotment of district has been released by SCERT. Counselling for the 02 years training will be conducted by the SCERT Uttarakhand at the auditorium of State Council of Educational Research & Training, Nanurkhera, Dehradun. Candidates declared successful in the D.El.Ed Exam will have to submit all the certificates related to the educational qualifications (as mentioned in the release of Uttarakhand Vidyalaya Shiksha Parishad) and other certificates to the screening committee compulsorily. The details given on the application form by the candidates will be verified at the time of counselling with the following required original certificates/ documents:

1. High School exam marksheet.
2. High School exam certificate.
3. Marksheet of Intermediate exam.
4. Certificate of Intermediate examination.
5. Marksheet of each Year/ Semester of Graduation.
6. Certificate of Graduation.
7. Certificate issued by Competent Officer in respect of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS Category.
8. Certificate issued by Competent Officer in respect of DFF/ PH/ Ex-Serviceman Category.
9. Domicile certificate or Permanent Residence certificate.
10. Employer issued (of Guardian/ Own) service/ certificate of employment (as per the attached format).
