Indian Army invited online applications for admission to 4 years B.Sc (Nursing) course commencing at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. Selected candidates will be granted permanent/ short service commission in the Military Nursing Service (MNS) on successful completion of training. MNS Application Form, Notification and Exam Updates

All candidates who want to take admission to B.Sc Nursing Course at AFMS institutions have to mandatorily qualify NEET (UG) 2022. Therefore, candidates will have to register online for NEET (UG) through the website neet.nta.nic.in up to 20th May (09 PM).

Age, Educational Qualification and Physical Standards

Eligibility criteria like age limit, educational qualification and physical standards is given below:

Age Limit – Candidate should be born between 01 Oct 1997 and 30 Sep 2005 (both days inclusive). Female candidates who are unmarried/ divorced/ legally separated/ widow without encumbrances, are eligible to apply for Military Nursing Service Recruitment.

Educational Qualification – 12th Pass/ 10+2/ Intermediate or equivalent examination pass in the first attempt as a regular student from any recognized Board/ University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English with minimum 50% Marks in aggregate.

Candidates appearing in the final year of qualifying exam may also apply provisionally for admission to B.Sc Nursing course at Colleges/ Schools of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. The candidates finally selected for the course will have to submit proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite subjects and marks before joining the B.Sc Nursing Course.

Physical Standards:
Minimum Height – 152 Cms (Candidates belonging to Hill and Northeastern States will be accepted with a minimum height of 147 Cms).
Medical fitness will be determined as per standards applicable for commission in the Armed Forces.

Indian Army MNS Selection Process and Exam Pattern

The selection process will consist of online computer based examination, interview and medical examination. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit of NEET (UG) score will be called for an Objective Computer Based Test (CBT) of General Intelligence and General English (ToGIGE) of maximum 80 marks. The Computer Based Test will consist of 40 MCQs of 02 marks each. The CBT will be of 30 Minutes duration. Negative marking of 0.5 Marks will be applicable for every incorrect answer given by candidates.

On the basis of online computer based exam merit, candidates will be called for Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) and Interview. Thereafter selected candidates from interview will have to appear for medical examination before a Special Medical Board (SMB). The interview and medical examination will be conducted at selected centres.

Final selection of candidates for the B.Sc Nursing Course will be based on the final merit cum choice prepared using NEET (UG) Score, Computer Based Test of General Intelligence, General English, Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) and Interview, subject to medical fitness and vacancies at each College. 15 Seats for SC/ST candidates and 25 Seats for NCC candidates possessing ‘C’ Certificates, will be reserved for admission to B.Sc (Nursing) course. The reservation of seats will be applied while preparing the combined merit list only.

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Admit Card

Eligible and interested female candidates (unmarried/ divorced/ legally separated/ widow without encumbrances) are required to apply online for the Indian Army MNS Recruitment B.Sc Nursing Course 2022-2023 through the website joinindianarmy.nic.in from 11th May to 31st May 22. It’s compulsory to have active E-mail ID & Mobile number for applying online and for all future correspondence. After registration of online form, note down E-mail ID (User ID) and Password for further requirements. You are not required to forward any paper applications by Post.

The notification to upload the NEET (UG) 2022 score will be published on the official website. Thereafter candidates can upload NEET (UG) 2022 scores when notified.

Application fee: Rs 200/-
The application processing fee can be paid online using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Only the eligible candidates will be able to pay the application fee of Rs 200/-. SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee. On successful completion of online payment, preserve the bank reference number (DU Number) for the future correspondence.
