Age Limit (All Posts) – 18 to 25 years as on 18th April 22 (relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Serviceman will be applicable as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification:
Stenographer – 12th Pass (10+2) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute and Transcription: 50 minutes (English), 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer.
Draughtsman – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board with 03 years Diploma in Civil Engineering and 01 year experience in the trade.
Cook – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and must have knowledge of Indian Cooking with proficiency in the trade. Experience of 01 year in the trade is desirable. Male candidates are preferred for the post of Cook.
Bootmaker – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. As a desirable qualification, candidate should be able to carry out all canvas, textile and leather repair and replacement of the equipment and boots. Female candidates can not apply for Bootmaker post.
Tailor – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board and ITI pass.
MTS (Safaiwala), Washerman, Barber and MTS (Mali) – 10th Pass (Matriculation) or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board. As a desirable qualification, candidate should be conversant with the duties of the respective trades with 01 year experience in the trade.

JAK Rifles Regiment Bharti Process and Exam Syllabus
The selection process will consist of written test and skill/ practical test. Screening of application for written test will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the minimum essential qualification for the post. The number of candidates called for written exam may be restricted to 50 times the number of vacancies, while for skill/ practical test it may be restricted to 10 times the number of vacancies.
Candidates qualified in written exam will have to undergo skill/ practical test (as applicable). The recruitment tests will be conducted at JAK RIF Regimental Centre Jabalpur (MP). Exam date, time and venue for written test for all Group C posts will be intimated through Admit Card (Call letter) only to candidates shortlisted by Board of Officers after scrutiny.
Written Examination – The written test will consist of objective type questions of Class 10th/ 12th/ ITI standard as per the minimum essential qualification for the post. The question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will comprise of questions based on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, General English and Numerical Aptitude.
Generally, the written exam for Army Group C Defence Civilian posts is of 02 Hours 30 Minutes duration consisting of total 150 Objective type questions (01 Mark each) of maximum 150 Marks as per the syllabus below:
General Intelligence and Reasoning – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
General English – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
General Awareness – 50 Questions (50 Marks)
For selection, final merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in written test subject to qualifying the skill/ trade/ practical test (as applicable), medical fitness test, police verification, education and caste verification.

Application Form, Required Documents and Notification
Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the JAK Rifles Regimental Centre Jabalpur Civilian Defence Vacancies on the typed or hand written application form as per the prescribed format downloaded from the website indianarmy.nic.in through the direct link below. Candidates will have to apply for a single post as tests for all posts will be conducted simultaneously. Send application form complete in all respect along with the following required documents through Ordinary/ Registered/ Speed Post to “SELECTION BOARD GP’C’ POST JAK RIF REGIMENTAL CENTRE JABALPUR CANTT PIN 482001” so as to reach on or before 18th May 22.

Envelope (not smaller than size 30 Cms x 21 Cms) containing application must be superscribed in Capital letters as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________”.
Required documents – Self-attested photocopies of the following documents/ certificates must be attached with the application form:
1. 10th Pass certificate/ marksheet.
2. 12th (10+2) Pass certificate (for Stenographer post).
3. ITI certificate (as applicable).
4. Experience certificate (as applicable).
5. Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
6. Latest/ Valid ‘Non Creamy Layer Certificate’ (for OBC candidates).
7. Latest/ Valid ‘Economically Weaker Sections Certificate’ (for EWS candidates).
