IB ACIO Recruitment Intelligence Bureau 2000 Posts 2020-2021

Intelligence Bureau (IB) invited online applications for filling up the following 2000 Vacancies of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade II/ Executive) Group C by direct recruitment. IB ACIO, Intelligence Bureau Bharti, Executive Officer VacancyPay Scale (Salary) – Rs 44900-142400 in the pay matrix level-7 plus admissible Central Govt allowances (Old scale Rs 9300-34800 PB-2 with GP Rs 4200).
Age Limit – 18 to 27 years as on 09.01.2021 (relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt rules).
Educational Qualification – Graduation or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. Knowledge of computers is a desired qualification.

IB ACIO Selection Process and Exam Pattern

IB ACIO selection process will consist of Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 (Interview), Character & Antecedent verification and Medical examination as per the exam pattern given below.

Tier 1 Exam – The exam paper will be of 01 Hour duration and will consist of 100 Objective type multiple choice questions of maximum 100 Marks (01 Mark each) as given below. There will be negative marking of ¼ Mark for each wrong answer given by candidates.
General Awareness – 20 Questions
Quantitative Aptitude – 20 Questions
Numerical/ Analytical/ Logical Ability & Reasoning – 20 Questions
English Language – 20 Questions
General Studies – 20 Questions

Tier 2 Exam – Candidates qualified in Tier-1 exam will be called for Tier-2 exam of 50 Marks. The Tier-2 Exam paper will be of 01 Hour duration and will consist of Descriptive type questions as follows:
Essay on one of the given topics – 30 Marks
English comprehension & Précis writing – 20 Marks

Tier 3 (Interview) – On the basis of combined performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2, candidates will be shortlisted for the Tier 3 (Interview) at 5 times the number of vacancies subject to the condition that the candidate secures minimum 33% Marks (17 out of 50) in Tier 2 exam. The interview will be of 100 Marks.

For final selection, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of combined performance in Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 (Interview) subject to their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination etc.

Tier-2 & Tier-3 (Interview) may not be conducted at all centres mentioned above. The department reserves the right to conduct Tier-2 & Tier-3 (Interview) at a centre by clubbing the candidates of nearby centres.

Online Application Form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates can apply online for the Khufia Vibhag IB ACIO Recruitment Officer Vacancies through the website www.mha.gov.in from 19 December 2020 to 09 January 2021. Before applying online, keep ready scanned image of Photograph (50 Kb – 100 Kb) and Signature (50 Kb – 100 Kb) in jpg/ jpeg format for uploading with the online application form. After successful submission of the online application, take printout of the form for future references. Any documents or hard copy of online application form are not required to send by Post. All the information about ACIO Recruitment like Exam date, Time, Centre, Admit Card (Call letter) etc will be intimated through official website and registered Email ID.

Examination Fee:
General, EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay Rs 100 as examination fee + Rs 500 as Recruitment Processing Charges. SC, ST, Ex-servicemen and Female candidates are required to pay Rs 500 as Recruitment Processing Charges only. The fee can be paid online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, UPI, SBI challan etc.
