Indian Air Force Recruitment rally for eligible unmarried Male Indian Citizens of all the Districts of State of Sikkim and Designated Districts of State of West Bengal will be held at 4 Airmen Selection Centre (Near Palta Gate), Air Force Station Barrackpore, 24 Paragnas (North), West Bengal from 16 February 2014 to 19 February 2014. The Recruitment Test will be for Group ‘Y’ Trades (Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police) and Musician).
16 February 2014: Written Test and Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘Y’ (Except Auto Tech, GTI, IAF (P) and Musician) Trades.
17 February 2014: Interview and Medical Examination of candidates passed on 16 February 2014.
18 & 19 February 2014: Reserve days.
Districts Covered: All Districts of State of Sikkim and Dinajpur (South), Coochbehar, Purulia, Jalpaiguri, Darjeeling, Malda, Midnapore (East), Midnapore (West) Districts of West Bengal.
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 Feb 1994 to 31 May 1997 (both days inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.
Educational Qualification: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Or
Passed two year Vocational Course affiliated/recognised by CBSE / State Education Boards/Councils duly recognised at par with 10+2 by AIU with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
Height: Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
Chest: Minimum range of expansion is 5 cm.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age.

The selection process shall consist of Verification of eligibility, Written test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Medical Examination. The All India Select List (AISL) will be prepared and the inclusion of names of the candidates in the AISL depends upon the performance of the candidates in the Rally.
