Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment Rally 2022-2023

Assam Rifles (AR) invited applications for recruitment to the following 104 Vacancies of Rifleman/ Riflewoman GD under Sports Quota (Meritorious Sportsperson). All eligible male and female candidates can apply online for the Sports Quota Vacancies of Football, Boxing, Rowing, Archery, Cross Country, Athletics and Polo. Assam Rifles Sports Bharti Sportsperson Vacancies

Pay Scale – Pay scale and other allowances will be as admissible to the Assam Rifles Personnel as per 7th CPC.
Total Number of Vacancies – 104 Posts
Educational Qualification – 10th Pass (Matriculation) from a recognized Board and have participated in any International Competition/ National Competition/ Inter-University Tournaments/ National Sports/Games for Schools/ National awards in Physical Efficiency Drive.

Age Limit (As on 01st Aug 2022):
Gen/ OBC candidates – 18 to 28 years i.e. candidate should be born between 01 Aug 1994 and 01 Aug 2004.

SC/ ST candidates – 18 to 33 years i.e. candidate should be born between 01 Aug 1989 and 01 Aug 2004.

Football – 20 Vacancies (Male-10, Female-10)
Boxing – 21 Vacancies (Male-11, Female-10)

Assam Rifles Sports Quota Selection Process and Physical PST

Assam Rifles Sports Quota Selection process will consist of Candidate verification, Initial documentation, Physical standard test (PST), Field trial and Medical examination. Eligible candidates will be issued Call Letter to appear in the recruitment rally at Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukri (Manipur). The recruitment rally is scheduled to be held from 04th July 2022 onwards (tentatively). The exact date, time and place of recruitment rally will be indicated in the Call letter (Admit card).

Physical Standards Test (PST):
Height:
Gen/ SC/ OBC – Male: 170 Cms, Female: 157 Cms
ST Candidates (except NE States) – Male: 162.5 Cms, Female: 150 Cms
ST Candidates (NE States) – Male: 157 Cms, Female: 147.5 Cms
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – Male: 165 Cms, Female: 155 Cms
Candidates belonging to NE States (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) – Male: 162.5 Cms, Female: 152.5 Cms

Chest (Only for male candidates):
Gen/ SC/ OBC – 80-85 Cms
ST Candidates – 76-81 Cms
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha and candidates from Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh – 78-83 Cms
Candidates belonging to NE States (Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) – 80-85 Cms

Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per the existing medical standards as applicable to male/ female.

Final selection will be done on the basis of achievements and performance in Field Trials/ level of participation. The Final Selection will only be made on the basis of position of the candidates in Merit List in accordance with the availability of vacancies in the respective sports discipline.

Online Application form, Important Dates and Notification

Eligible and interested candidates are required to submit online application form for the Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment Rally through the website www.assamrifles.gov.in up to 30th April 2022. To apply online, provide all the required details such as name, date of birth, gender, marital status, aadhaar number, identification marks, category, mobile number, email id, educational qualification, address etc correctly in the online form. After successful registration of online form take a printout of the computer generated application form for further requirements.

All candidates will have to produce the printed copy of online application form, copy of Admit Card/ Call Letter (downloaded from the official website) and original copy of payment receipt/ challan at the time of PST, Field Trial and Medical Examination.

Application fee:
Gen/ OBC candidates are required to pay Rs 100/- as application fee by depositing into SBI Current Account Number 37088046712 in favour of Recruitment Branch, HQ DGAR, Shillong-793010 payable at SBI HQ DGAR Laitkor Branch IFSC Code-SBIN0013883. SC, ST and Female candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
