Almora Urban Co-operative Bank Limited is established in the year 1991 and has its operational area primarily in the state of Uttarakhand. As per the bank, it is the largest urban co-operative bank of North India and operating its Head Office from Almora with 50 branches across Uttarakhand.

The bank regularly releases notification for recruitment to the various posts/ cadre as a Manager, Officer, Clerk, Cashier, Guard etc to provide its services through branches/ offices. At present, the bank has released notification for appointment to the posts of Special Officer and Clerk as per the details mentioned below.
Special Officer IT/ Law – Rs 30000 /month for assignment period of two years, thereafter 16400-1155-27950-1410-35000-1755-43775 (Officers Grade-IV) on probation of two years.
Clerk/ Cashier/ Typist – Rs 18000 /month for assignment period of two years, thereafter 14650-850-23150-980-28050-1210-34100 (Clerk/ Cashier/ Typist Executive) on probation of two years.

Eligibility Criteria (Age and Educational Qualification)
Age Limit (As on 01-04-2022):
Special Officer IT and Special Officer Law – 25 to 40 years.
Clerk/ Cashier and Clerk/ Typist – 21 to 40 years.
Special Officer IT – B.Tech Computer Science or MCA or Graduate with DOEACC B Level from a recognized University/institute with proficient knowledge of SQL/Oracle. Candidates having 1-2 years experience in banking/ financial institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference.
Special Officer Law – LLB from a recognized University. Candidate should have minimum 5 years experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs OR Candidate should have minimum 5 years experience as an advocate in handling banking related matters or Candidate should have minimum 5 years of combined experience in both.
Clerk/ Cashier – Graduation from a recognized University with 01 year Computer Diploma (preferable with knowledge of MS Excel). Candidates having 1-2 years experience in banking/ financial institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference.
Clerk/ Typist – Graduation from a recognized University with 01 year Computer Diploma (preferable with knowledge of MS Excel) and must be proficient in English and Hindi Typing. Candidates having 1-2 years experience in banking/ financial institutions/ NBFCs will be given preference.

Almora Urban Bank Bharti Process and Exam Pattern
The selection process will consist of online written test, personal interview and typing test (only for the post of Clerk/ Typist). Candidates qualified in online written exam will be called for an interview and typing test (as applicable). Call letter for the written exam will be issued online to all eligible candidates and can be downloaded through official website after intimation sent by the bank through Email/ SMS. The online exam will be conducted at the centers in Almora, Haldwani, Dehradun and Roorkee as per the venue, date and time mentioned in Admit Card.
Online Written Examination – The question paper will be of maximum 200 Marks (200 objective type questions with 05 answer choices per question) of total 02 Hours 25 minutes duration consisting of five sections as given below. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for each wrong answer marked by candidates.
Reasoning (40 Questions) – 40 Marks (35 minutes duration)
English Language (40 Questions) – 40 Marks (35 minutes duration)
General/ Banking Awareness (40 Questions) – 40 Marks (20 minutes duration)
Computer Knowledge (40 Questions) – 40 Marks (20 minutes duration)
Quantitative Aptitude (40 Questions) – 40 Marks (35 minutes duration)
Final selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in online exam & personal interview and appointment letters will be issued for joining in Officer/ Clerical Cadre subject to medical fitness.

Online Application form, Important Dates and Notification
Eligible and desirous candidates (domiciled of the state) are required to submit online application form for the Almora Urban Cooperative Bank Recruitment through the website almoraurbanbank.com up to 12th June 2022. Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number to get Call letter and other updates by email/ sms. You are advised to go through the AUCB Recruitment notification carefully and fill all the necessary details while filling up the online registration form.
Before applying online keep ready scanned images (in jpg/ jpeg format) of the following required documents to upload with online application form:
1. Passport size color photograph (Dimensions 200×230 pixels and size 20 kb-50 kb).
2. Signature with Black ink pen (Dimensions 140×60 pixels and size 10 kb-20 kb).
3. Left thumb impression on white paper with black/ blue ink (Dimensions 240×240 pixels and size 20 kb-50 kb).
4. A hand written declaration on a white paper with black ink (Dimensions 800×400 pixels and size 50 kb-100 kb). The declaration text is as: “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
After successful registration of online form take a printout of the form for reference/ record. The printout of online form or any other documents are not required to send to the Bank.
Application fees – Rs 1500 (Including GST).
The application fee can be paid by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS and Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
