Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released recruitment notice to conduct the Constable Fire selection process at various recruitment centers. Constable Fire Selection Procedure
Constable Fire recruitment tests will be conducted by the CISF at respective Recruitment centers. Candidates whose application forms are found to be in order will be issued admit card/ call letter. Candidates will have to undergo different stages of recruitment process as follows:
1. Height Bar and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Firstly, candidates will be asked to go through the Height Bar. Then candidates qualified in Height Bar Test (HBT) will go through the PET (Race). PET will be of qualifying in nature and it will not carry any marks.
Race - 05 Kms Race within 24 Minutes

2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates qualified in Height Bar Test/ PET will be allowed for Physical Standard Test (PST). Constable Fire Height, Chest & Weight (Physical Standards) for will be measured as follows:
Gen/ SC/ OBC Candidates - 170 Cms
ST Candidates - 162.5 Cms
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha etc - 165 Cms
Gen/ SC/ OBC Candidates - 80-85 Cms
ST Candidates - 77-82 Cms
Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha etc. category - 78-83 Cms
Weight - Proportionate to height and age

3. Documentation
Candidates qualified in PET/ PST will be allowed to appear for checking of original documents. In this stage candidates will have to produce all original documents/ certificates in proof of details as given in the application form. Educational certificates, Date of birth certificate, Domicile certificate, SC/ST/OBC certificate, Discharge certificate (for Ex-Serviceman), Relaxation certificate (for Garhwali, Kumaoni, Gorkha, Dogra, Maratha etc), 04 Photographs, ID proof etc documents will be required for verification.

4. Written Examination
Candidates qualified in the PET, PST and Documentation will be allowed to appear in the Written Test.
Written Exam Syllabus/ Pattern - CISF Constable Fire written exam will be of 02 hour duration and will consist of 100 OMR based objective type questions (01 mark each). The question paper will be set both in Hindi and English. The Question Paper will comprise of questions on:
1. General Awareness/ General Knowledge
2. Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics
3. Analytical aptitude and Ability to observe & distinguish patterns
4. Basic knowledge of English/Hindi

5. Merit List
After the written exam, State and category wise merit lists will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written exam.
Minimum cut off marks for selection:
General/ Ex-Servicemen category - 35% Marks
SC/ ST/ OBC category - 33% Marks
6. Medical Examination
Finally, candidates will be called for Medical Examination on the basis of written examination merit. Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect.
