Age Limit - 18 to 40 years as on application closing date
Educational Qualification - Matriculation (10th Pass) from a Board recognised by State Govt or Central Govt. Candidate must have computer training certificate for minimum 02 Months (60 days) from any recognized Computer Training Institute.
Candidates will be selected for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster (BPM)/ MD/ MC/ Packer on the basis of higher percentage of marks in 10th Standard followed by verification of educational & other documents.
General/ OBC Category - Rs.100/-
Application fee can be remitted using the Registration Number at any Head Post Office. SC/ST and Female candidates are not required to submit the application fee.
Online Registration and Application form
Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online for India Post GDS Recruitment Vacancies through the website www.indiapost.gov.in or www.appost.in/gdsonline/. To apply online follow the instructions below:
Part 1 - Firstly complete the Registration form and note down the system generated Registration number for further requirements. Thereafter visit to any Head Post Office and pay the application fee (if applicable) using the Registration Number.
Part 2 - Now open the Online Application form link to complete the application submission process. Complete all the steps in this part such as Registration details, Application form filling, documents uploading and taking printout of application.

Scan the following documents in jpg/ jpeg format for uploading online while completing the application submission process.
1. 10th Class Mark sheet/ Certificate
2. Computer Certificate
3. Caste Certificate (not required for the General category)
The printout of online application form or any other documents are not required to send to the India Post Department.
