Eligibility for KU Semester Mode Improvement Exam
UG Special Semester Examination – B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com Students admitted in 2016 but failed in 1st Semester in December 2016 and 2nd Semester in May 2017 are eligible to apply.
PG Special Back Paper Examination – PG (M.A/ M.Com/ M.Sc) students appeared in the 4th semester exam and students enrolled in 2014 & onwards are eligible to apply for the PG Special Back Paper Exam.
PG Improvement Exam – PG (M.A/ M.Com/ M.Sc) students passed in the 3rd Semester (Dec 2017) & 4th Semester (June 2018) and want to improve in a paper are eligible to apply for the PG Improvement Exam.

Eligibility for KU Annual Mode Improvement Exam
Improvement Exam – Students appeared in the annual mode main exam held in the year 2018 are eligible to apply for the Annual Mode Improvement Exam.
Language Paper Exam (old students) – Students passed the B.A Exam but did not qualify the compulsory language paper and their degree has been witheld by the university, are eligible to apply for the Language Paper Exam.
Environmental Science Exam (old students) – Students not passed or appeared in the compulsory environmental science exam in B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com course, are eligible to apply for the Environmental Science Exam.

KU Improvement Exam Online form
Before filling online exam form, students are required to pay the requisite fee through SBI Collect Portal by using Net Banking/ Debit/ Credit Card. Thereafter, you may submit Kumaun University Improvement Exam form for the UG (B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com) and PG (M.A/ M.Sc/ M.Com) Annual/ Semester Mode on www.kuadmission.in through the direct link below. Keep ready your Mobile number, Email ID, Roll number (allotted in the Annual/ Semester Mode Exam) and scanned copies of color photograph & signature in JPEG format (max 40 kb each) for submitting with the application form.

Steps for Submitting KU Improvement Exam form
Step 1 – Check your eligibility and read the instructions.
Step 2 – Pay requisite fee online through SBI Collect Portal by using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card and take printout of the fee slip.
Step 3 – After 24 hours of fee deposit, submit the improvement/ back exam form for Annual/ Semester Mode (as applicable) using the SBI DU Number and Date of Birth.
Step 4 – Take printout of exam form and submit at your enrolled college/ campus.
